Relief Cleaner / Caretaker Job Overview:

We are seeking to grow our team of Relief School Cleaners and Relief School Caretakers to work in our Mainstream Primary Schools across Liverpool and Southport. We have starting dates as early as January and a salary starting at £11.50 per hour. Relief roles may lead to long term positions and other long term roles will be offer within the team

As a Relief Cleaner, your key responsibilities will be:

• Attend a school setting outside school hours.
• Clean classrooms, central areas and toilets according to instruction of Site Manager
• Use appropriately provided cleaning materials correctly

As a Relief Caretaker, your key responsibilities will be:

• The locking and unlocking of school grounds and buildings
• Identifying any potential hazards or repair needs and either addressing directly, or coordinating with school and external companies to address.

• Manage team members - cleaners and contractors as appropriate

Key Requirements:

• An enhanced DBS on the update service is essential
• Experience of Caretaker role essential for Caretaker positions
• A "get stuck in" proactive attitude.

• The ability to be flexible, show initiative, be reliable and enthusiastic.
