Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

The Production Manager will oversee the manufacturing/processes unit, working closely with the maintenance department to drive efficiency and productivity.

Description

This is a chance to work closely with the senior management team and lead a production unit in delivering operational best practice.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team to meet or exceed operational goals.
  • Manage support and motivate the production team.
  • Develop & monitor departmental KPIs.
  • Develop and establish clear procedures, working instructions and method statements of all operational activities.
  • Participate in yearly forecasting and annual maintenance plans.
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
  • Ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Responsible for the day to day health and safety on site with a functional link into the company's Health and Safety Manager.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Ensure compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Profile

A Production Manager with experience within a technical manufacturing/processing and the following:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role and strong leadership
  • Excellent understanding of operational processes and manufacturing best practices.
  • HSE knowledge and a passion for embedding best practice HSE processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal

Job Offer
