Teaching Assistant

Job Description:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD in Year 1.
- Assist the child in accessing the curriculum and engaging in classroom activities.
- Implement strategies to support the child's social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create individualized learning plans.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for the child to thrive.

Qualifications:
- Relevant experience working with children with ASD is desirable.
- Knowledge of strategies and interventions to support children with SEN.

- Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and flexible in challenging situations.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
