About the Role:
Supply Desk is partnering with a Secondary school in Southampton, seeking a passionate and committed Maths teacher to join their team. This long-term role involves teaching Maths across various key stages, with some general cover as needed. The successful candidate will have time allocated for planning and marking, ensuring quality lesson delivery. The school is looking for a teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and a positive, engaging teaching style. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build experience in a well-supported educational environment. The School will consider overseas trained Maths teachers that ideally come with experience teaching in the UK.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be a committed and collaborative team player
Have a proven track record of raising student attainment in Maths
Be confident and adaptable in various classroom settings
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Deliver engaging and accessible Maths lessons
Hold a current valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
Be comfortable teaching Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 pupils
