RG Consultancy are working with an excellent medium company based in Halifax who are looking for an accounts assistant to join the finance team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be joining a small team and will report into the finance manager within the company. This is an excellent all rounded role.

Duties will include:

  • Processing high volume purchase invoices
  • Matching and coding invoices to a high standards
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly BACS payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with VAT returns
  • Processing wages onto SAGE Payroll
  • Other ad hoc duties - working closely with the finance manager

Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAGE would be an advantage
  • Strong IT skills including; MS Excel would be useful (spreadsheets and V-Look-ups/Pivot tables)
