Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: £34,000 depending on experience and qualification

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join our client's diverse and inclusive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, and a commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in all aspects of nursery life.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a senior role within a nursery setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in early childhood education
• A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of nursery life

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the nursery staff, ensuring high-quality care and education for all children
• Assist the Nursery Manager in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's curriculum and activities
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
• Support and mentor staff, fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and teamwork
• Assist in the management of the nursery budget and resources
• Act as a role model, promoting best practices in early years education and care
