With an immediate start, a fantastic primary setting in LS14 is seeking to recruit an experienced Behaviour Mentor to work within a year 6 class.

Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have already gained some experience managing challenging behaviour with children/young people.

Duties of the role:

* Working across various classes within the school

* De-escalating challenging behaviour

* Being on call for behavioural disruption

* 1:1 and group work

* Planning activities

What you will need:

A range of behaviour management techniques

To have worked with learners with a range of needs

*

The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods

*

Experience working within a primary school and/or working with young people
