We are working with a client in the education sector, to recruit for an Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis.

The postholder will be responsible for a wide range of compliance, reactive and planned maintenance duties plus small project work.

The post holder may from time to time be required to assist the M&E Supervisor with certain management duties, or to deputise in the Supervisor's absence.

Responsibilities of the Electrician include:

• Completing all works to JIB approved standards
• Undertaking tasks assigned via a PDA, and ensuring they are updated/completed appropriately and in a timely manner to meet SLA's
• Identifying and quantifying materials required to undertake work
• Carrying out regular plant and site checks in line with PPM schedules and ensuring that adequate records are kept
• Attending weekly operational meetings to review and allocate workload collaboratively with other members of the team
• Supporting the Senior Supervisor with audits
• Working collaboratively with other teams to deliver and engage with 'toolbox talks'
• Any other duties as may be relevant to the post.

Essential criteria of the Electrician includes:

• City & Guilds 2365 Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent qualification
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
• City & Guilds #removed#th Edition BS 7671 wiring regulations
