Adele Carr Recruitment - Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a well-established company in Nantwich. This is an exciting opportunity to take a hands-on role in accounts while leading overseeing a team of three and reporting directly to a friendly and professional Finance Director.

Office based - On site parking.

* Preparation and draft review of all aspects of the monthly management accounts* Ensure the constant review of GL to ensure accurate allocations of postings* Review monthly divisional reports * Reconcile divisional reports to group* Monitoring stock control process throughout the business* Fixed Asset Register* Review all bank reconciliations for all relevant bank accounts* Ensure all Bank mandates are up to date* Distribute bank related information as required by the business* Deal with any bank related queries and action those queries* Process various BACS payments on Santander in accordance with company policy* Ensure Santander system is effective and knowledge of the system is up to date* Close the accounting period in a timely manner * Ensure treatment of VAT is in line with regulations* Produce/submit monthly VAT returns & process payments* Review reporting packs to ensure managers/directors have the best information possible for decision making* Complete balance sheet reconciliations * Liaise with and provide information for external bodies (e.g. External Audit Team, Tax Consultants, Office National Statistics)* Assist in the production of yearly statutory accounts* Post accruals and prepayments journals* Continuously improve reports, systems to improve efficiencies and processes throughout the business.

Person Spec:

* Manufacturing sector experience (preferred but not essential)* Ability to start immediately or at short notice
