Role Overview:
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences? Join our client support team, where you'll play a key role in maintaining customer relationships and assisting with VAT-related services. This role involves administrative duties, liaising with clients, and ensuring smooth operations within the VAT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify handovers from the sales team to ensure clients are placed on the correct VAT scheme.
- Follow up with internal teams or clients to obtain missing information for applications
- Complete VAT applications via the HMRC website
- Process client's business expenses and include them in VAT returns
- Create weekly and monthly management reports
- Set up direct debits to HMRC
- Perform general administration, including maintaining digital customer records and managing departmental ticketing systems
Experience Ideally Required for This Role:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in an office setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proactive, resilient, and flexible, with a target-driven mindset
- IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience working with HMRC is an advantage
