Axcis is collaborating with a specialist SEND school in Cheltenham to recruit dedicated Support Workers to assist students for the remainder of the academic year. The role involves both one-to-one classroom support and general class assistance for learners with complex needs, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and those requiring personal care.

This highly regarded school is a cornerstone of the local community, supported by the local authority, and offers exceptional resources, including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory garden, and access to therapies such as music, art, massage, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one and classroom-based support to students with SEND needs.

* Assist students requiring personal care in a respectful and compassionate manner.

* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.

* Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment tailored to each student's individual needs.

* Adapt to various classroom settings and respond effectively to dynamic needs as they arise.
