Head of Product / Head of Digital Product / Senior Product Manager / Wealth Product Manager / FinTech Product Manager

The purpose of this role is to act as the Head of Product/product owner for the organisations new Wealth Platform, including the vision, the optimisation of user value and the delivery of its launch and ongoing features updates. This includes leading a cross functional team to deliver a front-end digital customer portal with specialism embedded, as a strategic asset for the organisation, and back-end infrastructure and capability to sell modern investment products. Responsibilities:

• Working with the Director of Product, lead the vision and plan for delivery and optimisation of the clients new Wealth Platform, including digital customer portal, interface with adviser journey and back-end functionality
• Set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the wider Cross functional team that measure critical customer success factors to ensure we achieve Product Market Fit as efficiently and effectively as possible
• Create an environment and culture where we learn fast and take learnings into the next iteration
• Ownership for the Product roadmap for Wealth, seeking buy in from stakeholders and partnering with the Programme Director to ensure deliverability
• Working with design colleagues to drive features-based analysis of potential improvements based on customer insight and data
• Collaboration with Director of Product and reports to incorporate broader product roadmap activity into deliveries and release for wealth platform including updating for market trends, changes in customer need and sentiment, regulatory developments and financial circumstances
• Working with the Programme Director, Lead a cross-functional team across the organisation to deliver the implementation of the wealth platform, ensuring customer needs are embedded, delivery meets business case commitments and that risk is managed appropriately
• Work closely with the Programme Director to deliver to budget, time and to achieve all critical OKRs set
• Work closely with the Programme Director Lead and direct day-to-day activity on project as it develops the design and implements the Wealth Platform solution.
• Ensure that the delivery aligns with the broader strategic plans of the organisation by liaising with the CPCO and Director of Product.
• Identify the organisations capabilities required for delivery and work with Director of Product to identify means of developing and sourcing these
• Manage project expenditure in line with budget, ensuring value for money for customers
• Ensure propositions make appropriate consideration of the adviser experience, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure appropriate delivery, driving member value by improving future revenue projections
• Take a leading role in communicating the purpose of the programme and its delivery model to the enterprise in an engaging and clear way.
• Report on the benefits of the wealth platform when launched and use these to drive improvements over time to create better customer experiences and further member value. Act as product owner for the platform and consider how to iterate the customer experience and the underlying financial product and fund range for the platform over time to improve commercial and customer outcomes further.

Experience and skills:

• Experience of leading complex products, in a complex organisations with knowledge of how to embed platform design within technical and business architecture.
• Experience in Product Methodology and ability to consider Product Market fit, with Product Ownership as primary craft.
• Comfortable creating and delivering Product strategies and roadmaps
• Experience of UK financial services, preferable wealth platform industry also interested in speaking with people who've worked in FinTech. The ideal person is someone who has been a Head of Product or Senior Product Manager for a Wealth Platform.
• A passion for building highly customer centric Digital products, with a strong emphasis on high quality customer experience.
• Experience of Platform development from scratch or migration would be a real benefit.
• Strong communication skills with excellent experience working with Director level peers and ExCo.
• The ability to translate Product approach and benefits to the wider organisation
• Self-motivated with experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams
