The candidate:

Qualified Solicitor or FILEX

Experience in managing a caseload of Clinical Negligence matters

Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

Confident in communicating at all levels including drafting legal documents

Flexibility to attend client visits and court hearings

The ability to work with challenging situations and caseloads whilst remaining professional

Previously used a Case Management system

Be an approachable and honest client focussed individual

Job Description:

Run a caseload of Clinical Negligence matters from start to finish

Attend meetings and conferences with clients and counsel

Review files and establish liability and quantum

Ensuring medical evidence is collected and allocated to the case to ensure the case can be progressed efficiently

Drafting legal documents including letters of instruction and letters of claim

Progress the cases

Exceptional attention to detail
