Our client, a leading contractor for sheet metal fabrications, are recruiting for an experienced CAD Programmer to join their dynamic team in Lancing. If you have a passion for precision engineering and a background in fabrications, this could be the perfect role for you!Key Responsibilities:

• Create programmes for the CNC machines (laser cutting, brake press etc)
• Convert technical drawings into production-ready files using SolidWorks.
• Upload and optimise files for CNC machines using Radan software.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the fabrication process.
• Work entirely off-line, stationed at a computer terminal, to create accurate programs for production.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Radan software is essential.
• Previous experience in engineering operations, particularly in fabrication and sheet metal.
• Strong understanding of measurements, scaling, and geometrical calculations for accurate drafting.
• Good knowledge of CNC programming for various machinery.
• Ability to work independently in an office-based environment.

The Package:

• Salary: £25,000 - £40,000pa DOE.
• Monday to Friday schedule.
• Holiday allowance + bank holidays.
