As the Chef Manager at Streatham & Clapham Prep School, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of meals for both the prep school and nursery. You will lead a small, dedicated team and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and service are maintained.

Job Description - Oversee food preparation and meal service for the prep school and nursery
- Lead and manage a small team of 4-6 staff
- Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and health and safety are maintained
- Plan and develop menus that meet the needs of students and staff
- Manage stock control and order supplies as needed
- Control food budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
- Ensure meals are nutritious, balanced, and cater to dietary requirements
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Maintain a positive, collaborative working environment within the kitchen team
Qualifications - Experience in a similar chef or kitchen management role
- Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certification (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen management
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for quality food and a commitment to high standards of service
