As a technicallead you will have the ability to manage multiple, diverse, technology workstreams in an agileenvironment. You will provide technical leadership and architecture recommendations, whilstproactively looking for opportunities to establish patterns and best practice.As a Technical Lead you will have relevant experience in:¬?? In-depth understanding of design patterns and software engineering best practices¬?? Experience in different levels of architecture design e.g. software, application, data¬?? Proven ability in providing technical leadership in an agile environment¬?? Previous experience in full stack development. This may be in any language, althoughJavaScript (React) & python will be in everyday use by the team¬?? Experience of key AWS platform technologies including Lambda, S3, EC2, Glue, Athena,CloudFront, AppStream¬?? Knowledge of building data pipelines (ETL and/or analytical pipelines) and understanding ofthe design of ETL Pipeline development experience in AWS¬?? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technicalconcepts to team members and stakeholdersKey Responsibilities:¬?? Produce Low Level Technical Designs¬?? Undertake hands-on AWS engineering tasks¬?? Day to day technical guidance for engineers and developers¬?? Code reviews¬?? Assist engineers and developers with breaking tasks into granular tickets for sprint planning.Desirable to have:¬?? You will be familiar with CI/CD¬?? Understanding or experience with Terraform or similar IaC¬?? Good understanding of Geospatial technologies especially QGIS and ArcGIS¬?? Experience of testing concepts from unit testing through to TDD, BDD and writing manual andautomated tests¬?? Git as version control¬?? Active SC Clearance
