Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)Location: London (Hybrid)Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Role Overview: Seeking a skilled SDET with a strong focus on JavaScript, CI/CD, performance testing, and BDD frameworks to enhance our QA processes. Fintech experience would be brilliant to have but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:* Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using JavaScript.* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.* Execute performance tests using JMeter, analysing results and addressing bottlenecks.* Build, customise, and optimise Cucumber BDD frameworks.* Collaborate in code reviews, ensuring testability and quality.* Manage Git workflows and coordinate testing across teams.

Essential Skills:* Proficiency in JavaScript and modern testing frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber BDD).* Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure.* Expertise in JMeter for performance and load testing.* Familiarity with testing web applications, microservices, databases, and cloud-based systems.* Agile/Scrum team experience.Soft Skills:* Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.* Team-oriented with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
