On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced HDU Enhanced Staff Nurse to join a leading hospital in Dublin. 

As an HDU Enhanced Nurse, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a high-dependency unit. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to monitor and treat patients requiring close observation and complex care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the HDU, including those recovering from major surgery or with acute medical conditions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medication, and assist with medical procedures.
• Work closely with the wider healthcare team, including doctors, physiotherapists, and support staff, to deliver patient-centered care.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations and changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMBI registration.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HDU or ICU setting.
• Postgraduate qualification in critical care or HDU nursing is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
