Customer Service Advisor (Fixed Term Contract) - Job Type: Fixed term contract of 6 Months

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service. This role involves handling both inbound and outbound calls, efficiently and friendly, ensuring first-time resolution and meeting KPIs and SLAs. The ideal candidate will be a role model within the team, consistently performing against target, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring good customer outcomes from a compliance and regulatory perspective.
Day to Day of the role: - Answer customer queries, make changes to policies, handle payments, raise claims, and support the overall administration of customer policies.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and regulatory learnings to stay informed on business updates, services, and products.
- Provide top-tier customer service with the aim of retaining business and enhancing profitability.
- Keep customers informed on the progress of their requests by coordinating with the Admin Team and issuing appropriate correspondence.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process and customer experience improvements.
- Conduct welcome calls with customers who have taken out a policy through one of our brands.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Upsell products and services to ensure customers have appropriate life insurance coverage that meets their needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and polite with unsatisfied customers.
- Skilled in managing and prioritising complex tasks and using multiple systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient verbal and written skills, including varied communication channels and methods.
- Experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with a policy administration system and knowledge of workflow.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, including Word and Excel.
