We are looking for an occupational hygienist to join our multidisciplinary environmental and health and safety consultancy. Our company provides a variety of services, including air and water quality monitoring, occupational health assessments, workplace inspections, and technical consultancy across different industries. Our team consists of BOHS-certified professionals who receive ongoing training and support to stay current with industry developments.

The occupational hygienist will play a vital role in building strong relationships with project stakeholders while conducting surveys to assess immediate health risks in the workplace. They will provide practical advice to organisations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and testing guidelines. Additionally, the hygienist will supervise junior team members, guiding their development and ensuring the overall effectiveness of the team's efforts.

Office location: NewcastleThe ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational hygiene or an accredited BOHS certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with prior experience in identifying health and safety risks within the field of occupational hygiene. A valid driver's licence is also required to facilitate on-site assessments and inspections.
