North - Sales Account Manager - Remote £30,000 - £40,000 DOEMonday to Friday Our client is looking for a passionate and motivated Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients, sourcing new business opportunities, and working closely with the engineering team to provide tailored solutions to their customers. Key Responsibilities
You'll wear many hats, but here are your main duties:
Customer Liaison (50%) - Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and offer expert guidance on suitable products. Your goal is to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Product Quoting (20%) - Work closely with the Engineering team to gather costing information and prepare accurate product quotes for customers.
Product Sourcing & Communication (10%) - Identify products within their range to meet customer needs and communicate with the purchasing team when products are unavailable.
New Business Development (10%) - Proactively market and seek out new potential customers within pre-agreed business segments.
Other Duties (10%) - Be ready to take on various tasks as assigned, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the sales process.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a Sales Account Manager role for Automotive or Aerospace sector, with a proven track record in sales, negotiating, and relationship-building.
- Skills: Strong client-facing skills, consultative sales approach, proposal preparation, and effective presentation techniques.
- Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required. You'll need it for customer visits.
