Maxwell Consultancy are working with a global engineering business in their search for a Horizontal Borer. This is a full-time, permanent position working in their state of the art workshop in Glasgow. Working a 4 day week (no Fridays).

What's Required?

* Time served machinist

* Read and interpret schematic engineer drawings

* Able to set and operate Horizontal Borer

* Work to tight tolerances

* Editing programmes where required

* 2/3 Axis programming skills required as a minimum

* De-burr castings after machining

* Quality Inspection of own parts

What to expect?

* Working 4 day week day/night shift

* Shift allowance

* Take home pay of £53K - £57K
