Job Definition

To oversee the day-to-day running of an established and busy office, ensuring efficient and profitable practise and encouraging new business across the residential sales and lettings sector.

About Peter David Properties

We are an established estate agency in Brighouse town centre, offering services relating to the sale and letting of residential property. We also offer a fully managed service. Since the incorporation of SW Property Management in February 2023, the fully managed rental portfolio is managed from the SW Property office located in Hipperholme. Therefore, the Brighouse branch is predominantly sales-based. There is currently a team of 5 sales staff.

Duties to include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee and support the sales team and implement any procedures necessary to improve performance
  • Provide support to the Lettings team, currently in a separate office
  • Manage the sales team, including the sales team acting under 'SW Property Management Limited’
  • Carry out quarterly performance reviews where necessary, these can be reduced or increased depending on circumstances
  • Develop performance plans for staff where needed
  • Carry out disciplinary procedures where necessary
  • Manage the office rota, approve holiday and log notes using Breathe HR
  • Provide monthly wages to the Director, including commissions payable
  • Collate monthly completions and provide these to the Directors
  • Carry out property valuations where needed and follow these up in a timely manner
  • Develop and grow long term relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Be the first point of contact for complaints and where possible, avoid these escalating
  • Ensure regular contact with customers once a property is marketed
  • Promote staff development and training
  • Undertake administration and office duties pertaining to the marketing of new properties
  • Ensure compliance policies are up-to-date and adhered to
