Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum

Our client, a highly successful and respected multi-site organisation is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of HR to join them at their central London base. This is a newly created role with a heavy focus on Employee Relations and will be integral in supporting the business through a period of extensive expansion in which it is essential that the HR/people strategy be planned and executed in line with the wider business objectives.

Reporting to the CEO and supported by a small team, this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join the organisation at an exciting stage in their development.

There is a level of flexibility available for hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Develop and improve existing HR processes to foster constructive employee relations to ensure the businesses approach to its colleagues is fair, respectful and consistent.

Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Analyse workforce trends and propose proactive solutions to address organisational needs.

Implement performance management systems to drive high performance and accountability.

Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and setting performance goals.

Championing and executing an open culture of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) throughout the company which reflects company values

Candidate Requirements

  • Solid and demonstrable generalist and strategic experience at senior level, Ideally CIPD Level 7
  • A passion for delving into the complexities of employee relations
  • Experience within Pharmaceuticals or Private Healthcare a distinct advantage
  • Ability to influence and work closely with the CEO
  • Experience in facilitating culture change, restructures and expansion
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of UK employment laws and regulations.
