If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD Specialist in a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Ealing, London.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder, you will play a vital role in supporting children with ASD in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents, you will provide tailored support, ensuring each child has the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing and structured environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students with ASD on a 1:1 and group basis.

• Implementing effective communication strategies, including PECS and Makaton (if applicable).

• Managing and responding to challenging behaviors using positive behavioral management techniques.

• Assisting in the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress.

• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

About You:The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Knowledge of communication strategies and behavioral management techniques.

• A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting children with additional needs.

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• A genuine passion for education and fostering inclusivity.
