Your Core Responsibilities

*

Maintaining and optimising mechanical systems across the factory, offices, and site infrastructure

*

Diagnosing, repairing, and preventing mechanical faults on production and facilities equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, HVAC, pneumatics, etc.)

*

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and identifying areas for mechanical improvement

*

Liaising with specialist contractors for larger installations or servicing

*

Supporting apprentices and junior staff with mechanical fault finding and repairs

*

Maintaining safe working practices and ensuring mechanical compliance with health & safety standards

What We're Looking For

Essential:

*

3+ years' experience in facilities maintenance or mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment

*

Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills

*

Qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, forklift (or willing to train)

*

Reliable, hands-on, and able to work independently and as part of a team

*

Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK

Hours & Benefits

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (37.5 hrs/week)

No weekend or shift work
