The role - ASD Teaching Assistant

I am working with a school based in Bexley that is looking for a new ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team! In this role you will be working 1:1 with students across key stage 2 and 4 and supporting them in and out of class. You must be an approachable, confident and experienced person with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents. As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you must follow the Educational Healthcare Plans for individual students and must have experience working with challenging behaviour and using de - escalation techniques.

This SEN school is based in Bexley and caters for students aged 6 - 19 years old with Education Healthcare Plans. The school offers small classes or one - to - one learning where the curriculum is tailored to the needs of the individual students, they recognise the importance of building up routines, relationships, respect, and trust to achieve successful teaching and learning.
