Finance Assistant - Newark - Up to £26,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be working exclusively with market leading company who are actively seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will work closely alongside the Finance Manager, as well as being a pivotal support for all other teams within the business.

Working with a passionate, friendly team of experts Finance Assistant Responsibilities:
Creating new Customer and Supplier accounts
Processing Sales orders
Raising Sales Invoices and applications for payments
Responsibility for credit control management and collection of customer debt
Uploading Invoices onto Customer Portals as required
Raising Purchase Orders
Inputting supplier invoices, validating nominal coding and matching POD's
Processing Bank/Cash Payments & Receipts
Processing of Credit Card Expenses
Keeping Product Costs up to Date
Maintaining the Sales Orders in spreadsheet
Dealing with enquiries both internally and externallyRequired skills & experience:
AAT Qualified to a minimum of level 2 or willingness to work towards
Experience working in a varied accounts role including credit control
Experience using Excel and Sage
Ability to multi-task and think on your feet and be self-motivated
Organised and methodical, with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Be personable, friendly and have excellent listening skills
Enthusiastic and hardworking attitude
