Overview

This is an opportunity to join a growing, family-owned food manufacturer in Manchester

They are currently enjoying investment and expansion following a recent acquisition, so this is a great time to join.

As Technical Manager, you will have a key relationship with their retail and foodservice customers, manage a well-trained and established team and ensure an already excellent Technical culture is further developed.

The Role

The Technical Manager will:

* Manage an established and well-trained team.

* Lead the HACCP team and ensure that the internal audit schedule is robust and reliably delivered.

* Have key relationship with customers including leading customer visits and audits.

* Champion Technical to the wider business and make sure the business is up to date with current trends, threats and opportunities.

* Deliver training and guidance to the team and the wider business.

The Candidate

* A proven track record as a Technical Manager.

* Experience working with a broad range of customers including the major retailers.

* Experience of leading external audits.

* A strong track record of a manager.
