Calling ECT's and experienced teachers! An exciting Year 4 teaching role awaits at a highly respected school in Adswood, Stockport.

On behalf of our partner school, we are currently looking for a dynamic Year 4 teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' Primary School in a diverse community in Adswood, Stockport.

The role will be full-time commencing in September for the Autumn term with the possibility of an extension depending on staff movement. This position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike and have expressed that they can support ECT's with their induction.

This single-form entry school is spearheaded by a passionate Headteacher who goes above and beyond to ensure her staff, children and families are fully supported. It boasts a beautiful grounds with large outdoor spaces including a field, trim-trail and Forest School. Year 4 Teacher

As the Year 4 teacher, you will be tasked with creating engaging lessons which are relevant and meaningful and equip children with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be successful citizens in this everchanging world. The ability to differentiate and drive progress across a range of attainment levels will be key to your success as you adapt, reflect and respond to life and learning at the school. Good behaviour management will be key, along with being a great team player.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver exciting lessons in line with pupils interested that are relevant, meaningful and meet the National Curriculum statutory requirements
Use a variety of assessment tools to record data and monitor progress using data analysis to inform future planning
Create interventions to address misconceptions and drive progress. Liaise well with the teaching assistant who will support with the teaching and delivery of these sessions
Build a strong, trusting, respectful rapport with the children and adhere to the school behaviour policy 'Good to be Green'
Utilise both the indoor and outdoor environment to support learning across different settings
Contribute to all areas of school life.

Essential requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status
Teaching experience in the United Kingdom (preferably in KS2)
A proven track record in the classroom with great references to support this
