TQR are working with a new client, who is in the startup phase of their business looking for a Registered Manager! They have a new home in the South of Manchester which provides care for Young Adults with Learning Difficulties. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the direction for their first care home and make a real impact on the community.

We need someone with a Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), solid management experience, and a proven track record of working with external professionals like social workers and counsellors to secure placements and support our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily running of the home, ensuring a high standard of care and compliance with all regulations.

* Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and counsellors to ensure a steady flow of clients who can benefit from our services.

* Develop and implement person-centred care plans tailored to the needs of the residents.

* Recruit, train and lead a motivated team who share your commitment to excellent care.

* Create a positive, nurturing environment where residents feel supported to achieve their goals and gain independence.

* Manage budgets, staffing and resources effectively, ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements:

* Level 5 NVQ Diploma (or equivalent) in Leadership for Health and Social Care—this is essential.

* Strong experience managing a care home or supported living service.

* A proven ability to work collaboratively with social workers, counsellors, and external professionals to support clients and build trust.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate your team and engage families, stakeholders, and the community.

* Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or similar needs.
