We're seeking a skilled Housing Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded in-house legal team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role focuses on delivering expert legal advice, managing complex cases involving anti-social behaviour, debt recovery, tenancy enforcement, and representing the organisation in legal proceedings. You'll play a critical role in reducing legal risks and driving effective tenancy management.

Description

The HousingLitigation Solicitor will be:

  • Managing complex caseloads involving anti-social behaviour, debt recovery, and tenancy breaches.
  • Providing sound legal advice and conducting litigation, including issuing and defending claims.
  • Preparing and presenting cases in court, including drafting pleadings and correspondence.
  • Collaborating with external agencies and promoting the organisation's reputation with stakeholders.

Profile

The HousingLitigation Solicitor should be:

  • A Solicitor or Legal Executive - NQ-5 years PQE.
  • Experienced in housing law, possession proceedings, and civil procedure rules.
  • Skilled in managing complex cases and drafting high-standard legal documents.
  • Confident attending and presenting in court, including open court hearings.
