Meraki Talent are recruiting on behalf of a leading investment bank in Glasgow who are seeking a talented and motivated lawyer to join their legal team at an Associate level. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior legal professionals, providing timely and effective legal advice and transaction support across a wide range of digital, intellectual property, IT, and sourcing matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on contractual negotiations, new products, and services.
- Draft legal documentation, including contracts and advice notes, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in structuring transactions and negotiations, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Collaborate with other legal departments and workstreams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support and review the work of more junior colleagues, promoting accuracy and professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer in English and/or Scots law (or other major jurisdiction) with relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of legal principles relating to Digital & IP, IT & Sourcing.
- Working knowledge of policies, regulations, and legislation in these areas.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to support and mentor junior team members.
- Proficiency in standard computer software and willingness to learn specialist legal applications.
