I am working with a college in Chelmsford who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Lecturer to join our team on an hourly paid basis. If you are passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their goals, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:You will be responsible for teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English to a diverse group of learners. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work 3 to 5 days per week. Whether you are an experienced lecturer or new to teaching, we welcome your application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons at both GCSE and Functional Skills levels.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve success.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the English department to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English.
• A recognised teaching qualification (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage students.
• A passion for education and supporting learners to reach their potential.
