Role and Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of electrical systems across various commercial properties. Your tasks will include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics of electrical systems.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime.

  • Conduct EICR’s on commercial properties

  • Installing, repairing, and upgrading electrical equipment and components.

  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure comprehensive site management.

  • Complying with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized electrical engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair work.

  • City & Guilds Testing and Inspection - 2391 (or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with commercial electrical systems and components.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid Gold Card certification for electrical work.
