An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly commercial and 'hands on’ Head of FP&A to join a growing, PE backed business. This role is ideal for a practice trained finance professional with strong financial reporting experience, looking to take ownership of the FP&A function in a fast paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead FP&A Strategy: Develop and implement financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership, including the CFO and investors, to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

• Financial Reporting: Oversee and enhance reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial data.

• Commercial Decision Support: Provide financial guidance on key business initiatives, investment opportunities, and performance improvements.

• Process Improvement: Continuously refine FP&A processes, leveraging technology and best practices to drive efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Practice trained finance professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified preferred).

• Strong background in financial reporting, with experience in a PE backed or fast growth business.

• Highly analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Proven ability to operate in a hands on FP&A role, building models from scratch and diving deep into financials.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.
