Role: Machine Operator and Setter

Location: Barton Le Clay

Salary: £13-£14 p/h

Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday

Proactive are currently in search of Machine operator to start work immediately in Baron le Clay. This is an exciting opportunity working for a world leading supplier in plastic products, offering ample opportunity for progression, cross training and development.

The Role

They are recruiting for a machine Setter & Operator to join their growing team. Working within a small team of 3-4, you will be responsible for running up to 4 extrusion lines under the supervision of a Line Manager. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Tool changing & setting
Material selection for production lines
Initiating & closing production runs
Monitoring quality and recording findings hourly
Following ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures
Communicating with warehouse operatives & team membersWhat my client is looking for:

The ideal candidate will have extrusion experience or a strong manufacturing background, preferably within plastics and have prior experience working with a QA system
