A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for a heavy manufacturing business in Chesterfield.

Location- Chesterfield Working Hours: 3 shifts rotating- Days, afters, nights

Salary: £40,000 +

  • Pay rise every JanuaryElectrical Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • To carry out breakdowns and preventative maintenance on equipment as part of the PPM scheme
  • Working with the Mechanical Engineer on shift to assist with project work and compliance when needed
  • To produce a daily report of work done, spares used, follow up as required
  • Electrical installations as and when required
  • Working to a continuous improvement focus The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience doing both preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Previously worked in a heavy manufacturing environment previously
  • Have a flexible, can do attitude
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
