Client: Our client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor operating in London and the home counties. Having been established for 20 years they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. They pride themselves on being able to deliver technically, logistically challenging and fast-paced schemes. With a turnover in excess of £50M they operate in Commercial Office, Public sectors and high end residential. Their clients included: Galliford Try, British Land, Mace, McLaren and Sir Robert McAlpine, to name a few.

Role: Mechanical Project Manager - £400 - £450 per day

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical package which is part of a £18m MEP commercial new build based in Central London. The preconstruction will last 60 weeks with the install due to start March 2026.

Role/Responsibilities:

* Programming

* Technical Submittals

* Procurement

* Sub-contractor and Labour Management

* Cost Control

* Progress Reporting

* Health & Safety

* Project & Programme Implementation

* Understanding of design and drawings

* Technical & Progress Meetings

* Regular Site Inspection and Snagging

* Compilation of O&M Manuals

The ideal candidate:

* Have 3-5 years' experience managing multi-disciplined Mechanical Services Installations.

* Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services.

* Experience working in the commercial sector.
