We're working on behalf of a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to take the lead on a site in Ironbridge This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, where your skills in managing heavy civils and bulk earthworks will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day operations on site, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery of groundworks and earthworks packages.

* Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and labour to meet programme targets.

* Monitor site HSEQ compliance and lead site inductions and toolbox talks.

* Liaise with project management, clients, and engineers to maintain strong communication lines.

* Ensure accurate setting out and quality control are maintained.

Requirements:

* Proven experience managing groundworks and bulk earthworks projects.

* Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and site processes.

* SMSTS and First Aid certified.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills
