Our client seeks to appoint an experienced Partnerships Manager. You will be reporting to the Head of Partnerships, tasked with overseeing the successful delivery of all partners' rights on a timely basis, ensuring continued growth of the club and its partner family.

The role holds responsibility for building and nurturing excellent relationships with partners at all levels. Understanding partnership and business objectives is essential to developing strategies and action plans for each season and helping the department to achieve these goals.

Key responsibilities
• Lead on strategy of accurate and timely delivery of partner rights, allocating team resources to achieve efficient and successful partnerships
• Develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with allocated partners and their agencies, managing expectations in line with their contractual rights
• Identify key KPIs and scorecards with each partner, and report on these appropriately through the delivery of campaigns and rights
• Collaborate with wider business to develop detailed activation plans or content campaigns for partners which help achieve agreed partnership and club KPIs
• Take a proactive approach to ongoing data reporting, campaign and season evaluations for partners, with a view to supporting the ongoing growth of commercial revenue and partnership diversification
• Lead the operation, maintenance and roll out of administrative systems designed to support the partnerships team, ensuring accuracy at all levels
• Support the Head of Partnership Management on coordination of team workload and activity
• Maintain an in-depth level of understanding and awareness of commercial and legal rights of partners in order to deal with any conflicts or challenges
• Lead on documenting knowledge of partner and competitor industries, as well as wider sports partnerships and activations to support delivery of best-in-class service
• Provide support to the wider commercial team with renewals, new business pitches, activation development plans and onboarding of new partners to assist with smooth transition of partners into the business

The candidate
• Around 4 years' previous experience in partnerships or an agency environment is desirable
• Relevant background and proven track record of retaining and developing partner relationships
• A good listener and strong communicator
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• Previous line management experience is advantageous
• Strong IT skills including a high level of proficiency in software programmes such as Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
• Willingness to work with flexibility
• Access to transport to enable travel to and from offsite partner meetings
• Eligibility to work in the UK
