A global manufacturer that produce products and services that make a real difference in the world are currently looking to recruit for a Mechanical Design R&D Engineer. You will be responsible for developing new systems and components, as well as providing support on existing products.

Role & Responsibilities:

Analyses research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal.
Performs experiments to determine necessary engineering parameters. Uses test data, reports to determine if design meets functional, and performance specifications.
Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and 3D models.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.
Makes recommendations to appropriate personnel on improvements to current production processes leading to increased efficiency.
Coordinates completion of all documents required to produce new products including creation of drawings, bills of materials

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience in CAD Packages and Solid works.
Experience in 3D Modelling and 3D Printer
Five year working experience on Commercial and Industrial Product designs
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
