We are currently recruiting for an HR Manager based at our office in Skelmersdale.

This a new role and will report directly to our HR Director, to ensure that all practices are managed and integrated into our Green Parts Specialists business, initially, this will be a start up role, where you will help shape a positive workplace culture.

It is a standalone HR role, supported by a wider HR team, based in Bedfordshire. You will lead the entire HR function within a large operational site and 3 small remote locations. You will initiate all policy and process whilst maintaining a strategic and commercial mindset.

You'll be a trusted partner for employees and managers, get fully immersed in employee relations & wellbeing, drive process improvements, oversee key moments in the employee lifecycle.

You will be an experienced and qualified HR professional, with a passion for delivering excellence across the full spectrum of HR related activities, in a highly operational business.

We work in a constantly changing organisation and you will have the ability to create solutions that allow the business to remain proactive and maintain a positive can-do environment.

What we need from you:

• CIPD Level 7 qualification, relevant degree or qualified by experience
• Previous experience gained from an operational HR Manager role
• Expert knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
• A passion for employee engagement
• Excellent attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• Ability to establish effective relationships across remote management at operational level
• Team leadership capabilities
• An outgoing demeanour, with experience in implementing HR practices in an environment new to HR
• Great work ethic and a flexible approach to any situation
