A Manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Head of HSE to lead their health, safety, and environmental strategy. As a pivotal role in the company, you will be responsible for improving the safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving HSE performance across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and develop a robust Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy that aligns with the business objectives.
Promote a strong HSE culture across the company and uphold organisational values.
Oversee HSE compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
Develop and implement measurement systems to monitor HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Lead investigations and provide support on incident management and claims.
Collaborate with senior leadership to report on HSE progress and drive continuous improvements.
Lead HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain and improve safety standards.
Deliver training programmes, toolbox talks, and inductions to ensure the safety of employees and contractors.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in Health, Safety & Environment leadership within manufacturing, logistics, or similar sectors, ideally supporting a group of sites.
Strong strategic capability, with the ability to be hands-on and drive change in a fast-growing environment.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualifications.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
A resilient, robust personality with a practical and adaptable approach to safety.
Ideally experience with CDM regulations, manual handling, and ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
