A long-established wholesale business within the sports sector successfully providing a national service and self-designed product selection to the retail market.
Role Responsibilities:

Monthly reporting P & L / Cashflow/Balance sheet

Management Accounts
-
Liaising with auditors
-
Payroll/Pensions & PAYE
-
Credit Control/Invoicing
-
Tax filing and payments
-
Payment runs & Banking
-
Foreign Currency purchases & contract management on those
-
Overseeing SAGE system
-
Statutory accounts preparation under FRS102 Section 1A and FRS105
-
Preparation of corporation tax and submission of CT600's to the HMRC
-
Experience in completing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
-
Manage the continued functions of the current ledger clerk who is also there to help with credit control & purchase ledger

Manage and action a complete stock-take for a large sku inventory

Effectively manage time to ensure work is completed within agreed time
