Our client is looking to recruit a (Senior) Design Engineer. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive improvements in electronic product research, design, development, testing, and approval activities, ensuring a continuous stream of new differentiating network solutions for our company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the creation of Product Roadmaps and advancing electronic designs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Produce new product concepts, validate potential through calculation and analysis, and develop concepts into products via prototype build, test, and production integration.

• Technical Leadership: Manage and undertake electronic system approval testing to customer and international standard requirements.

• Project Management: Own projects and manage through our Product Development & Introduction (PDI) phase gate process.

• Continuous Improvement: Support problem resolution and lead cost reduction initiatives relevant to existing product ranges.

• Industry Engagement: Participate in local, national, and international working groups/standard committees to help drive improvements within the industry.

• Collaboration: Work closely with global Engineering teams and other departments to ensure effective knowledge sharing and transfer of best practices.

You should have experience in designing, developing, testing, and implementing new electronic products, with a strong understanding of data transmission principles and communications technologies. Proficiency in using advanced test equipment is essential.
