38 hours per week Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday)
Up to £30,000 plus overtime and benefits

As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for:

* Maintaining, repairing, and enhancing existing jigs, fixtures, form tools, and general tooling.

* Creating new jigs, fixtures, form tools, and general tooling based on engineering drawings.

* Collaborating with Tooling Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to deliver cost-effective and efficient tooling solutions.

* Responding effectively to breakdowns and assisting production teams.

* Reporting issues to the Toolroom Supervisor or directly to stakeholders when necessary.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven proficiency in using manual machines like milling machines, radial arm drills, and surface & cylindrical grinders.

* Expertise in hand and bench skills for jig and tool production and maintenance.

* Experience with CNC operation and programming

* Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings.

* Proven track record of producing parts to tight tolerances.
