37.5 hours per week (7.5 hrs per day), Monday to Friday - with some weekend working where neededJob Description:We require a scientist to contribute to the execution of cell line construction activities within the Expression R&D team in Cambridge, UK.Core responsibilities include:
• Mammalian (CHO) suspension cell culture
• Operation and contribution to ambr15 (small scale bioreactor) workflows
• Contribute ideas and opinions to ongoing projects and process improvements
• Collaborate with team members across R&D
• Support generation of new expression vectors using molecular biology techniques for the production of complex therapeutic proteins
• Help prepare presentations and data sets to effectively communicate results, progress and plans
• 80% lab based role using experience and knowledge
• Occasional weekend work required
