As Site lead, the role will involve:

Leadership and management of the production function and engineering team, driving the site forward setting clear expectations.
Visible and in touch with the operation daily.
Leading the S&OP process for the business
Ensuring maximum efficiency and output whilst working towards the strategic end point.
Implementation of robust data capture and KPI systems
Preparation of reports for the weekly management meeting as well as monthly for the Board

Ideal backgrounds:

Senior Operations role in a FMCG or food business.
Proven ability in leadership, building and developing teams in demanding manufacturing environments.
A bright and enquiring mind, able to drive solutions and plan strategically.
Significant experience of production management in the FMCG or food industry.
A good understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
Proven success in process improvement, introduction of data capture and S&OP processes.
Structure and organised approach.
Ideally a background in automated manufacturing processes.
Six Sigma or lean manufacturing training would be a significant advantage.
