Based in East London - Full time (35 hours across 5 days)
£35,000 - £44,000 (depending on experience/qualifications)

Key responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons, supporting learner progression across functional skills Maths.

* Track learner progression and keep learner records up to date

* Use a range of assessment methods and provide prompt feedback to inspire learners

* Work towards learner retention and qualification achievement rate

* Find innovative and effective ways to prepare learners for examinations

* Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding

About you

* Hold Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2) and relevant subject degree

* Hold Teaching Qualification (advantage if Level 5)

* Proven outstanding teaching and communication skills and understanding of Ofsted framework with ability to make the subject matter and time in classroom interesting and engaging

* Experience in teaching Functional Skills Maths E3-L2, GCSE Mathematics and Core Principles Mathematics (Level 3).

* Assertive and confident in learning environment management

* Ambitious and committed to meeting targets, setting standards of behaviour and work

* Empathetic and have excellent communication skills
